Before You Pay is a decision-support tool. It is meant to help you think, not to collect payment data.

What we process: the answers you type in this check (what you are considering buying, a price, optional URL, and yes/no questions). That information stays in your browser so you can return to a draft or a saved report on this device.

What we never ask for: card numbers, bank details, passwords, one-time codes, or government IDs. If a seller asks you for those in a chat, that is outside this tool.

What we do not do: we do not look up the website you paste, we do not score a company as a scam, and we do not sell your check answers.

If you print, copy, or download a report, that file is yours. Clearing your browser storage deletes drafts and saved checks on this device.
